OUR STORY
Wayward Nation began as a small creative studio as the work grew, the clients grew and the vision expanded, it became clear the business needed a name that reflected its direction, something bold, strategic and built for growth.
‘Wayward’ represents the creative heartbeat of the studio, the willingness to approach things differently, the mix of traditional and non traditional solutions and the belief that the best ideas don’t always follow a straight line.
‘Nation’ speaks to scale, ambition and community. It reflects the network of regional businesses we collaborate with and the collective drive to grow stronger, reach further and build brands that stand the test of time.
Today, Wayward Nation is a modern creative agency led by Creative Director Amelia Fitzgerald, partnering with agriculture, trades, retail and service based businesses across regional WA.
Our work blends strategy, clarity and clean design with a grounded understanding of how regional industries operate. Our story started with growth and continues with the same purpose.

Amelia leads Wayward Nation with a clear belief, that regional businesses deserve design that is strategic, grounded and built to last. Based in Esperance, she brings together creative direction, practical strategy and years of experience working alongside government, agriculture, trades, retail and service based industries.
With a background in leadership, management and brand design, Amelia approaches every project with equal parts clarity and creativity. Her work is shaped by a deep understanding of how regional industries operate, fast paced, hands-on and built on trust, designing brand identities and websites that reflect that reality. Clean, intentional and designed to work everywhere your business does.
Amelia’s role sits at the intersection of strategy and design. She helps businesses find direction, communicate with confidence and build identities that feel authentic and scalable. At Wayward Nation, she leads every project with purpose, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to creating brands that stand the test of time.
